I offer saxophone lessons in my Lakewood (Green Mountain area), home studio. I also offer lessons via the Zoom platform, if that is desired. All levels and ages are welcome! So, whether you are just starting out and playing for fun, or a serious music student that is looking to get ahead with more advanced studies, I can help you aquire a solid foundation and the necessary technical skills to play in many styles including jazz/improvisation, classical, rock, funk, and more!

Although the saxophone is my main instrument, I began my early training on the clarinet, and the guitar! If you're interested in starting out on the clarinet or guitar, I can help you build a solid foundation on those instruments too!

I have a Bachelors Degree in Music Education, and a Masters Degree in Education, as well as, over 30 years experience as an instrumental music teacher in the public school system, teaching band, orchestra, and guitar. I have a very patient, encouraging and friendly teaching approach, with the ability to target and build upon student strengths and interests while motivating them to strive for high achievement levels.
