Dan Williamson is an accomplished musician/saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist, educator, composer/arranger. Dan graduated from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education, and earned a Masters Degree in Education from Lesley University. He is a passionate music educator, and has taught instrumental music privately, and at every level in the public school system for 35 years. Dan has worked in a variety of musical situations over the past 30 years, performing in a range of genres from big band jazz, to rock/pop, and classical music. He has been a saxophonist, guitarist, singer, writer and horn arranger, for the popular Denver bands he's been a part of including, Core Zero, Brass Monkey, C-470, The Usual Suspects, T.J. Coupe, and Six Degrees, to name a few.
Dan recently retired from Westminster Public Schools, but continues to teach private saxophone, clarinet, and guitar, and do freelance work as a saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist. He lives in Lakewood, CO, with his wife Linda and their completely spoiled Pomeranian, Sophie.​
